The SUST community team is easily the hardest working and also the most prominent part of our activities.

The work undertaken by Tony Henderson-Smith (Community Officer) and John James (Local Authority Liaison) has been quite varied, ranging from getting better signage around the town to advertise the club’s location to arranging kids football coaching, women & girls fun days, trials for both our boys & girls Junior sides, assisting the club in obtaining FA Community Status and right through to helping spearhead the proposed Collingwood Rec development.
Without the tireless efforts of Tony, John and their team, the Football Club would certainly not have the community profile it currently enjoys. But never ones to rest on their laurels, the work of the SUST community team won’t be complete until Sutton United Football Club is as much a key player in it’s local community as it strives to be on the pitch.
If you would like to volunteer or offer any assistance to the Community team, please get in touch via email or approach the guys at a match. They’ll be only too happy to have a chat!
